First Taiwan project won ARCHIZINC TROPHY

The ceremony of the 7th ARCHIZINC TROPHY competition was held on June 10 in Paris. With 140 submissions from 18 countries, architects demonstrated yet again their enthusiasm for this biannual competition. In the ceremony, the winning architects of 12 international projects were invited and awarded prizes.

This is the first time a project from Taiwan won an award the ARCHIZINC TROPHY competition: Da-an residential, Tapei.

Da-an Residential has won the Internet Award by having the most“Likes”on the social networks.


It is designed by the famous British architect firm: ROGERS STIRK HARBOUR + PARTNERS, in cooperation with C.T. CHEN ARCHITECTS & ASSOCIATES.


In the ceremony, Mr. David Weng from ROGERS STIRK HARBOUR + PARTNERS made a presentation about the design concept and the reasons of using zinc on this master piece in Taipei.
